That was... different. I didn't dislike it. Actually, it was pretty scary, and I'd like to watch it again. I can see this one growing on me. But I don't think it quite fulfilled its potential. Next week looks great though! Gave me shivers

Can I just start by saying that I think 'Forest of the Dead' is a strangely unfitting title for this one. Not that it bothers me really, seeing how it was a fantastic episode.
I still don't get why Steven Moffat taking over the show is being likened to the Second Coming of Christ in fandom, because in my humble opinion, quite a few RTD scripts easily outshine this episode, but it was an enjoyable episode nonetheless.
D'you know, I still can't make up my mind about how much I liked or didn't like that episode. It was very up and down, actually. Bits of it I absolutely adored, other bits did nothing for me. I definitely liked the first part more...
I wanted to watch it last night, but then made the mistake of crawling into my bed while it was downloading, 'just to have a rest'. Naturally, I fell asleep and woke up again at half five. Shut down my computer and slept until 10, when I finally got up to watch it. So!

Honestly? I loved this so much more than last week's episode. Last week was nice. But I don't see myself wanting to rewatch it very much. This, on the other hand...! I just can't find anything at all wrong with it. It ticked all my boxes.
Yes, I've officially decided to stop smoking for now. I got sick of it. It was the point when I walked into my room and it smelled like the back corner of a pub before the smoking ban. Blegh
